DItalia.com began in 1985 as a wholesaler and distributor of fine Italian foods. In 1997, founders Vincenzo Di Piazza and his son Vince, Jr. wanted to bring the family business into the 21st century. They created an online marketplace for Italian gourmet food specialties, reaching not only their devoted clientele in St. Louis but also food lovers nationwide!
